Dark Horses -Announce New Single
There is a lot to love about Dark Horses the debut album ‘Black Music’ produced by Richard Fearless of Death In Vegas fame i’m sure is a longplayer that many of you are already au fait with. For the uninitiated this AA single that drops Feb 11th will serve as a good introduction to a band you become acquainted with. Personally I love the recent throw back to quality synth sounds of the early 80′s but with a 21st Century twist that’s prevalent in many releases. There is a lot more to Dark Horses than elements of throwback take the mish mash of sound evident in Radio. At last weeks prestigious ARTROCKER Awards held in Londons East End, the Horses received the accolade of winning the coveted Best Single Of The Year 2012 for their effortless composition RADIO, voted for by the readers of Artrocker Listen HERE
Dark Horses also traveled across the frozen-hinterland soundscapes of Europe & Australia this year as hand-picked guests of both SIGUR ROS and BECK and with more nocturnes planned, including rumoured STONES ROSES supports and MERCURY PRIZE nominations, 2013 promises to be even bigger than their rise from nowhere in 2012.
The band are set to announce a full UK tour next week
